Linton Police Officer Arrested After Allegedly Driving Patrol Car Through Taco Bell Drive-Thru While Intoxicated
LINTON, IN – A local police officer is facing criminal charges after allegedly operating his marked patrol vehicle off duty while intoxicated nearly five times the legal limit and attempting to order food at a Taco Bell drive-thru on New Year’s Eve.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed on January 2, 2026, Logan E. Hobbs, has been charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated (Class C Misdemeanor) and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated Endangerment (Class A Misdemeanor) following an incident that began at a Taco Bell in Linton.
