Beloved Police K9 Passes

Behr retired from our Owen County Sheriff's Office as a K9 Deputy in December 2022 and we are saddened to hear of his recent passing. His partner was former Deputy Sergeant Edson (Gator) Westgate, a life he no doubt saved in a past incident by the way. The bond of a partnership like this is very strong and a K9 Deputy is a part of the partner's entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Westgate Family and all he has served with. For Behr's service, we are forever grateful. Rest In Peace our friend, Behr.
